Throughout my life, I’ve embarked on a multitude of professional adventures, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities for growth. I’ve held positions as diverse as a cashier at a superstore, a fishmonger, a sushi chef, a cook at a hotel, a factory worker at Honda, a farmer, a civil engineer, and even a video creator and editor.
Among these, the one job I’ve vowed to never repeat is civil engineering. The demanding physical labor left my body immobile the next day, drenched in sweat from the exertion. It was a test of endurance, one that pushed me to my limits.
In contrast, my career as a cook never feels burdensome. With a long-standing passion for creating culinary delights, my heart found a home in the kitchen. Working as a sushi chef, especially, was a joy-filled experience. Standing behind the sushi counter, crafting delicate pieces of art from fresh ingredients, became one of the highlights of my career.
