A Journey Within: Discovering Myself Beyond Sight
How would you describe yourself to someone who can’t see you?

Describing oneself to someone who can’t physically see them is a unique challenge.
It’s often through conversation that the essence of a person, their personality, and spirit, becomes discernible. There are moments I, too, grapple with understanding who I am at the core. However, some facets of my personality shine clearly.
Traveling and adventuring are among my passions. I am enamored with the stories told through movies, books, and dramas that revolve around these themes. The allure of travel is not just about seeing new places but also discovering new facets of oneself.
Culinary arts and eating are close to my heart. The joy of savoring a delicious dish reminds me of the zest for life, making my heart skip a beat. Speaking of rhythm, I have danced my heart out at numerous music festivals, immersing myself in the beat of the moment.
On the quieter side, I have a penchant for introspection. I find solace in meditation and often indulge in yoga. Once, I even dedicated ten days solely to meditation at a center, navigating the tumultuous sea of my thoughts until I reached a tranquil shore by the end.
Earlier this year, I undertook a three-day fast, consuming only water and salt. By the fourth day, the hunger was overwhelming, but the experience was illuminating. I lost 4kg and realized just how much food we carry within us daily. The post-fast clarity and lightness in my gut were palpable.
If I were to explain myself to someone without sight, this narrative would be my guide.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey.
