What is the last thing you learned?

Have you ever tried fasting before? I just finished my first 3-day fast yesterday and lost about 4kg in weight. It was a period of listening to my body’s signals for these three days. I love cooking and eating, so this period was very painful for me. Around the evening of the fourth day, I felt unwell and slowly ate 150g of daikon and 2L of water that I boiled for about 40 minutes over low heat for about an hour. My stomach was growling. Then I went to the bathroom and felt relieved. What I learned from this fasting is that there are about 4kg of things in my intestines every day, and they are constantly active. I strongly felt that it is important to give the intestines a break once in a while. Even in a world where everything is easily accessible, I think it is very important to exercise self-control in the long run.
