Lucky: Reflections on a Fortunate Life of Adventure and Connection

What is one word that describes you?

If I had to describe myself in one word, I would say “lucky.” Throughout my life, my wishes and actions have been coming true, and even in dangerous situations, someone always seems to lend a helping hand at the last minute. I am truly grateful for this life. For example, 10 years ago, I backpacked alone for two years through 50 countries. At the time, I couldn’t speak any English, so it was tough carrying a dictionary everywhere. I would look at maps and ask people for directions to reach my destinations. Thanks to this experience, I became good at asking for help, gathering useful information, and avoiding dangerous places. I have been helped by so many people and I think that’s how I’ve survived until now. Being able to connect with people from all over the world through my experiences is my treasure. In the future, I hope to connect with even more people through this blog.

私を一言で表すなら、ラッキーマンだと思います。今まで、自分が願い行動した事は現在進行形で叶ってきているし、例え、危険な場面でもギリギリな所で誰かしらの手が差し伸べてもらえる。本当にこの人生に感謝しています。少し例を言うと、私は10年前に1人で50ヶ国を２年かけて、バックパッカーをしました。当時は全く英語を話すことが出来なかったので、辞書を片手に大変でした。地図を開き、人に聞いて周り目的地に着くと言う感じでした。そのお陰で人に尋ねる事が得意になり、良い情報を入手することができるようになり、危険な場所も避けれるようになり、本当に沢山の人に助けられて生きてい来たと思います。私と言う媒体を通して、世界中の人達と関われたことは私の財産です。そして、今後はこのブログを通して沢山の人と繋がれたら嬉しいです。
