Overseas Experiences

I believe the decision to go abroad has indeed helped me learn and grow. My hometown is located far from urban areas, and most people around me settle down with jobs and families there. It is truly rare for someone like me to go overseas and live.

To be honest, I couldn’t speak English and didn’t know what to do next. But with the determination to travel around the world, I clutched a one-way ticket, shouldered my backpack for the first time, and boarded a plane to Thailand all by myself. The day I arrived in Bangkok, I cried, as the dazzling lights of the city contrasted starkly with my overwhelming emotions. The impact was that significant.

However, this experience has allowed me to have many encounters, learn about different cultures, study languages, and receive a wealth of up-to-date information.

Although the amount of information available today has increased dramatically compared to decades ago, and can be easily accessed through the internet, I believe that information heard directly from people is more credible. I don’t know how things will change in the future, but I plan to adapt flexibly and continue living my life.
